The 5MP 42X AI Speed 5MP dome network camera is designed to extend the user's reach to unimaginable levels thanks to the fast 4.7∼141mm @F1.5∼F4.0 lens and impressive 42X optical zoom that allows the user to zoom in on super distant targets while maintaining sharpness and delivering high quality video throughout the zoom range.
The flagship functionality of this camera is the intelligent PTZ function. The camera can automatically detect motion and track without user intervention or, instead, it can be the user who easily decides to pan/tilt/zoom to a specific area in a clear and timely manner.
While most cameras typically achieve pan speeds of 60°/s, this camera can pan at 250°/s and tilt at 160°/s, providing fast and accurate movement, infinite 360° pan and 95° tilt. The user can easily control the target position by using the mouse to monitor the area of interest or set one of 300 preset patrol positions available. In addition, the user can schedule specific PTZ tasks by date and time.
Conventional PTZ cameras have a wide detection range but have to be manually controlled to adjust the camera to track moving objects, which is inconvenient and less reliable. When motion is detected in a target area, the camera will pan and tilt to focus automatically. It will then zoom in to provide a clear image for a period of time. This time is configurable and when the duration expires or the subject leaves the field of view, the camera will resume its previous surveillance position and zoom level.
The auto tracking technology is composed of detection and tracking. Regarding to detection technology, it first compares the current image with the previous image to differentiate the background and moving objects, and then decides a target to track.
And as for tracking process, it utilizes a model which includes the characteristics of moving objects and their surrounding background. Then it extracts the unique characteristics of moving objects, searches candidate areas with the highest similarity, and use Pan/Tilt/Zoom function to track the objects.

High accuracy and real-time people counting based on AI algorithm, with statistic reports for further analysis, helps to make fast decisions on security management and increase the operational efficiency of the business. People Counting is able to count how many people enter or exit during the setting period, which can therefore serve multiple purposes such as helping retailers to count how many customers came in a day. It records the number of people passing through a line automatically. People who cross along the direction of an arrow will be recorded as IN. On the contrary, they will be recorded as OUT.
After a certain time of counting, you can start using the Statistics Report function. With this function, you can search by Statistics Types or Report Type. The rain sensor is used to detect the rain, realizing a smarter control of the wiper function. The speed and frequency of the wiper are intelligently adjusted according to the rain. H.265+ encoding is designed to further boost the capabilities of HEVC technology and lower the overall bitrate of the H.265 codec.
